Dr. Sarah Wildermuth is originally from Huntsville, OH. She attended Indian Lake High School and graduated valedictorian of her class. She then attended Wright State University for her undergraduate studies before gaining early acceptance to The Ohio State University College of Optometry after her second year of college. Dr. Wildermuth graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015 and has been with Eyes On Main since.
While in optometry school, Dr. Wildermuth was involved in several service organizations that led her to share her passion of eye care on an international level. Through Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, Dr.Wildermuth traveled with 3 of her fellow classmates to provide eye care to the local community of Frome, Jamaica. She was also involved in SVOSH where she helped provide donated glasses to over 1100 people in San Alejo, Honduras during her fourth year of school.
Dr. Wildermuth enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She has a passion for fitting patients with contact lenses, especially patients who have been told they can no longer wear contacts due to dry eye or needing bifocals.
